About us

We specialise in handpicked characterful antique and vintage finds & furniture that lends themselves to become refined beautiful gems for your home.

Each item is hand painted in the unique style best suited for each individual piece - Scandinavian, French, Country Chic, Rustic etc. We use subtle, mellow 18th Century colours and with our aging technique turn each item into a characterful piece of art - a perfect focal point for your home.

We also stock antiques and vintage finds that we prefer not to paint. If an item already has lots of patina and charm, that has taken hundreds of years to build up - why paint it? To create an interesting mix and harmony to your interior, you will need a mix of painted and unpainted items, rustic mixed with elegance.

Please do not be afraid to contact us to discuss the price of items that you are interested in buying. We are open to offers.

We are happy to help you if you have got stuck with your own interior and need some advice or fresh ideas.

Although we mainly focus on painting and selling our own vintage and antique pieces, we do source and paint/age furniture on commission for interior designers and private clients alike. Our courier can collect and deliver for a combined price. For larger items, multiple items or items that cannot be moved we are happy to carry out the work onsite at your premises. Please contact us for more information/quote.

To our delight we have been approached by many leading interior magazines and have been featured in House & Garden, Vouge, World of Interior, House Beautiful, London Life Magazines, Homes & Antiques etc.

We are based in East Lyng, a small village on a ridge in the middle of the beautiful Somerset Levels. Although we are in the rural Somerset countryside, we are only an 8 mins drive from Taunton (Junction, 25 on the M5) and 20 mins from the A303.

“I have always loved interior decorating and I am not afraid of mixing in architectural items, vintage tools, military trunks etc into my design, as this will add quirkiness and character to the home. Being from Sweden I find a lot of my inspiration from the 18th Century Gustavian Country look with painted floorboards, hand painted furniture and the freshness of stripe and checker patterned fabrics.”
