Gorgeous Grey Hand Painted Rustic Vintage Gustavian Country Style Bureau / Writing Desk / Chest of Drawers

The exterior of this very pretty romantic bureau has been hand painted in Annie Sloan's Paris Grey, while the interior of the writing compartment has been painted in Duck Egg Blue. Using our artisan ageing technique, we have slightly aged distressed it - enhancing the charm and character of this piece.

This country charm bureau has a fresh, crisp light grey colour blended beautifully with the contrasting duck egg blue interior. The pretty details adds further to its charm. It has three drawers below a spacious writing compartment with fold out writing pad. We have kept the gorgeous ornate brass drop handles that has been cleaned up and reattached. 

The use of this bureau is multiple, use it as a desk, chest of drawers in your bedroom, living room or in your hallway. When not in use, it will blend discreetly with the room. Perfect for a smaller area or if you need a writing desk, but do not want a full spaced writing desk.

It is in a good vintage condition and as with many vintage furniture, there are marks and dents which, in our opinion, only adds to the character and charm of the piece. Please see photos.
