Quirky Rustic Patina Country Style Old Gramophone Cupboard Now Bedside Table / Cupboard / Basin Base

This rather unusual bedside cupboard started its life in the 1920/30s as a gramophone. At some stage in its life the actual gramophone parts were removed and it was turned into a decorative bedside table with lots of charm. It stands proud on brass casters that is in working order and it has pretty detailed rims and we have added a drop handle in keeping with the 1920s style. The hole for the handle is still there and adds to the quirkiness of the piece. It has quite a masculine aura about it and would look stunning in a room with a darker interior design.

We love the fact that someone has made the effort to upcycle it to another use, as too many of these beautiful old gramophones has not been that lucky. The wood has the most beautiful patina and it would be perfect as a bedside cupboard / side table / hall cabinet or why not make it into a one off basinbase for your cloakroom.

It is in a rustic, but good vintage condition. As with most vintage items, there are dents, marks etc developed over the years and as this cupboard has its own story, the imperfections just ads to its charm and character. Please see photos.
