Charming Grey Hand Painted Vintage Antique Edwardian Country Rustic Wash Stand / Cupboard / Bedside Table / Basin Base

This wash stand has been hand painted in Annie Sloan's Paris Grey. Using our artisan ageing technique, we have aged distressed it - enhancing the rustic details of this piece.

There is something so charming with an old wash stand. It will add character to  a contemporary home and feel just at home in a period property. It stands proud on turned legs with casters, so typical of the early 1900s, and has a large  storage space behind the shakery style door. The  original handle is still in place, but the hinges have been changed at some point in its long life. The old marble top is not original to the base, but fits perfectly (if you prefer to organise your own top, then we can remove the top). This piece would be lovely as a cabinet / bedside table in your bedroom or as a storage side table in your living room / hallway / dining room.

It is in a rustic, but good antique / vintage condition and as with many antique / vintage furniture, there are marks and dents which, in our opinion, only adds to the character and charm of the piece. It is not perfect, it is perfectly imperfect. Please see photos.

As mention above, use this lovely multi-functional cabinet as a bedside table in your bedroom, as a side table / storage unit for your hallway / living room / dining room or why not use it as a charming basin base for your bathroom.
