Grey Hand Painted Vintage Gustavian Country Style 4 Drawer Bow Fronted Chest of Drawers

This classic vintage chest of drawers has been hand painted in Annie Sloan's Paris Grey. Using our artisan ageing technique, we have aged distressed it - enhancing the beautiful shape of this piece.

Although this chest of drawers is of a typical classic British design, it does have the charming look of the Swedish Gustavian style - a gorgeous combination. The original handles were quite bland and not a full set, so we replaced them with ornate drop handles, that have been given a touch of gold and we also added a faux key hole furniture. This piece offers lots of storage space with four spacious drawers. It was most likely made in the 1950s.

It is in a good vintage condition and as with many vintage furniture, there are some marks and dents , which, in our opinion, is what makes vintage furniture so charming and attractive. It is not perfect, it is perfectly imperfect. Please see photos.

This lovely chest of drawers would be perfect in your bedroom or living room or as a storage unit in your hallway etc.
