Grey Hand Painted Vintage Country Style 2 Drawer Chest of Drawers / Basin Base / Bedside Table

This Art Deco / Country influenced chest of drawers has been hand painted in Annie Sloan's Paris Grey. Using our artisan ageing technique, we have aged distressed it - enhancing the charm and character of this piece.

We just love the “less is more” simplicity of this little chest of drawers. It was most likely made in the 1930s and it has a charming mix of Art Deco, and strangely enough, the sleek lines of the Swedish Gustavian Country style. With its sleek lines, it will fit in a contemporary home just as well as in a period property. It has two spacious drawers with ornate round drop handles. The scallop rim is a pretty detail. This piece is perfect as a chest of drawers / bedside table in your bedroom or as a storage side table in your living room / hallway.

It is in a good vintage condition and as with most vintage furniture, there are some marks and dents which, in our opinion, only adds to the character and charm of the piece. Some signs of old woodworm, which has been treated. It is not perfect, it is perfectly imperfect. Please see photos.

As mention above, use this lovely chest of drawers as a bedside table or chest of drawers for your bedroom, storage unit for your hallway / living room or as a charming basin base for your bathroom.
