Black Hand Painted French Country Bombe Style Bedside Table With Large Chunky Antiqued Gold Drop Handles

This dramatic French Bombe style chest of drawers has been hand painted in Annie Sloan's Graphite (a beautiful black colour with hints of dark grey and blue) and sealed with a wax. We have slightly distressed it and used black wax to create a velvety black service.

This first thing you notice with this piece is the chunky, large drop handles. We have given them a touch of antiqued gold / bronze, which creates a dramatic look against the black bedside table. It is somewhat lower than the normal height for a bedside table, so would suit a lower bed or to be used as a side table in your living room etc. Two spacious drawers. 

It is in a good condition. As with most used items, there are some dents, marks etc. Please see photos. 

This characterful French style bombe chest of drawers would look lovely in your bedroom, living room etc.
