Duck Egg Blue Hand Painted Gustavian Country Style Vintage Chest of Drawers With Key

Gustavian Country Style Duck Egg Blue Hand Painted Vintage Oak Chest of Drawers With a Touch of Gold

The base of this oak chest of drawers has been hand painted in Annie Sloan's Duck Egg Blue, waxed and - using our artisan ageing technique - it has been aged distressed enhancing the Gustavian Country style of the piece. The top has been painted in Graphite - a lovely black with a hint of dark blue & grey.

This gorgeous chest of drawers has a feel of the ever so popular Gustavian Country style. The gold painted drop handles works lovely with the duck egg blue and the black top. The duck egg blue colour changes with the light of the day. It has three spacious drawers and, rather unusually, a key for the drawers' locks.

It is in a good vintage condition. As with most vintage furniture it has some marks, dents etc - imperfections that we find is what makes vintage so charming and characterful. It is made of oak, so is quite heavy for its size. Please see photos.

This charming chest of drawers would look lovely in your bedroom, hallway, living room, dining room etc. or why not use it as a basin base in your bathroom. We have a Gustavian style ornate wall mirror listed, which would go very well with this chest of drawers.
